Wall Street Up on Rising Dollar, Falling Oil
Wall Street rose Monday on a stronger dollar, which eased concerns over inflation, and falling oil prices.

The dollar advanced against other leading currencies, as light, sweet crude wavered, falling 55 cents to $125.41 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Oil prices gained nearly $10 a barrel last week, rising to a new record of more than $126.

In midafternoon trading, the Dow rose 98.68, or 0.77 percent, to 12,844.56.
